Gussie’s Tamales & Bakery

2200 North Piedras Street, El Paso

If you’re looking for delicious baked goods and Mexican pastries, look no further! But this time of year, what we really want are Gussie’s authentic tamales. Yes, please!

El Paso Mom team member, Vickie E. says, “Gussies Tamales and Bakey is our family go to for tamales in town. I remember when I was little I would wake up bright and early with my dad to stand in line for tamales for our Christmas Eve celebration. I’ve carried that tradition on to my adult years. While we’re there we also grab a dozen of their pan dulce. You can’t go wrong with Gussies!”

Indulgence Bakery & Cafe

2265 South Main Street, Las Cruces, New Mexico

There is so much to indulge in at Indulgence Bakery & Cafe, you won’t know where to start. Good luck choosing which of their pies or cakes to give a place of honor on your holiday table. We are crossing our fingers that they’ll have Grinch Cupcakes again this year. So cute!

Kinley’s Coffee House

2231 N Mesa St, El Paso

Nothing makes this time of year feel quite as cozy as a cup of hot chocolate. And we hear Kinley’s Coffee House has the best Mexican hot chocolate in town.

Las Tamaleras

9987 Alameda, El Paso

The holidays in El Paso wouldn’t be the same without tamales. And you won’t find better tamales than the ones at Las Tamaleras. If you’re not making your own, pick some up by the dozen here.

Lupita’s

6860 Doniphan Dr # B, Canutillo

El Paso Mom team member Brenda S. says, “It’s not winter without tamales from Lupitas!”  The tamales fly off the shelves here for good reason . . . they’re delicious and they do not skimp on what’s inside.

Savage Goods

1201 North Oregon Street, El Paso

We have it on “good” authority that Savage Good’s holiday pies are not to be missed. And please do yourself a solid and order their pumpkin pie donut. No regrets!
