Great Hearts Online is a tuition-free, virtual public charter school. Currently, GHO serves Texas K-8 students with plans to expand to the high school grades. Their rigorous, classical liberal arts curriculum includes advanced math and science, robust arts, and foreign languages.
Some online schools operate more like correspondence courses with students getting assignments and submitting them but never meeting with an instructor or class. This is NOT the case with Great Hearts Online. This academy provides live instruction with engaging teachers in a small classroom setting. Classes are synchronous Monday-Thursday.
